Lauren Branson

Lauren Branson's work experience begins in 2004 as a Technical Officer at the Australian Museum, where they conducted research on various species and their habitats. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Project Officer at Parks and Leisure Australia, focusing on conservation efforts for threatened fauna and managing invasive species. In 2007, they joined the King Island Natural Natural Resource Management Group as a Project Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of conservation plans for endangered species. In 2008, Lauren became a Senior Ecologist at URS Corporation, where they managed threatened species and collaborated with environmental organizations. In 2015, they co-founded Your Food Collective and served as the Chief Executive Officer, promoting sustainable food choices and empowering consumers. Currently, since 2022, Lauren has become the Chief Executive Officer of Calyx.Eco, a SaaS platform that measures the ecological impact of food products and encourages sustainable practices.

Lauren Branson completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Biodiversity and Conservation at Macquarie University from 2000 to 2003. Lauren then pursued a Masters of Science with Honours degree in Ant Assemblages in Northern Australia from 2003 to 2006, also at Macquarie University.
