Peter Dunn has an extensive work experience in the field of finance and media. Peter is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Your Money Line since 2017, where they lead a team of financial experts to provide money advice and resources to employees. In 2020, Peter became the Chief Executive Officer of Hey Money, a platform that offers financial support and guidance through phone, chat, and email access to experts.
Prior to this, Peter worked as a columnist for the Indianapolis Business Journal starting in 2019. Peter also worked as an on-air host for Radio One starting in 2022. In 2015, Peter worked as a freelance columnist for USA Today, and they became an author for Pete the Planner in 2006.
Peter has also contributed their expertise as a personal finance expert for WXIN TV and WISH-TV, where they provided financial content and created original programming. Additionally, Peter has served as the on-air host for "The Pete the Planner Show" at Emmis Communications.
In 2005, Peter founded their own company, Your Money Line powered by Pete the Planner, where they offered practical money advice through various formats such as financial wellness programming and structured radio and television content. Peter also wrote books and guides to help people gain control of their finances.

Peter Dunn attended Pike High School from 1992 to 1996. Peter then pursued higher education at Hanover College from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
