Danielle Ballantine

Danielle Ballantine has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors. Danielle worked as the Chief Executive Officer & Company Secretary at Your Side Australia from 2015 to present, leading a team dedicated to providing support services for carers, people with disabilities, and older individuals. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer (Acting CEO) at Break Thru People Solutions from 2008 to 2015, where they managed a team of 15 and oversaw programs addressing mental health, employment, disability, homelessness, and training needs. Danielle also worked as the Regional Manager at the same organization from 2006 to 2008, providing leadership and mentoring support to Business Managers across the Sydney region. Before their time at Break Thru, Danielle held the position of Regional Business Development Manager at Konekt from 2005 to 2006, where they assisted in keeping employees safe, managing workplace injuries, and meeting compliance obligations. Danielle started their career as a Business Manager at Ingerus trading as Inergise Australia in 2004, where they provided workforce health risk management, injury management, and occupational health and safety services.

Danielle Ballantine's education history includes completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Business/Commerce at Charles Sturt University from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Aboriginal Studies, and Australian History from Macquarie University between 1995 and 2000. In 2016, they attended the Governance Institute of Australia to study "Not for Profit Officers, Directors and the Board." In 2014, they participated in the Future CEO Program offered by the CEO Institute.
