Carl Appelgren

Carl Appelgren has a diverse work experience across various industries. Carl most recently served as the Head of Sales at Your Special Delivery Service AB since March 2022. Prior to that, from October 2020 to March 2022, they worked as the COO at Gamecam - Caai, where they focused on camera innovations with computer vision for customers in the transportation, sporting, and broadcasting industries.

Before that, from July 2019 to October 2020, Carl held roles at Enkla Financial as the Chief Information Officer and Produktägare. Enkla Financial focuses on simplifying the online mortgage process. Carl also worked at enkla.com as a Talent Acquisition Specialist from May 2018 to July 2019, contributing to the automation and simplification of the digital mortgage process.

From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Sony Mobile Communications in multiple roles, including National Key Account Manager & Heading Up B2B Nordics, Field Manager, Account Development Manager, and Market Development Manager. During this time, they had various responsibilities such as business development, sales, budgeting, and product management.

Carl began their career in the restaurant industry, working as a Driftchef at Pepes Bodega from 2006 to 2008, where they had overall responsibility for operations, including recruitment, purchasing, scheduling, and marketing.

Carl Appelgren received a Magisterexamen Pol Mag degree in Internationell Politisk Ekonomi from Lund University from 2003 to 2009. During the same period, they also obtained a Kandidatexamen Företagsekonomi degree in Organisation och Ledarskap from Lund University. In 1999, they completed a bartender course at Göteborgs bartenderskola.
