Michelle Maurer, NBC-HWC, has a diverse work experience. Michelle began their career in 2004 as a Barista at City Dock Coffee. In 2008, they worked as a Sales Representative and Summer Intern for Vector Marketing and as a Server, Hostess, and Expo for Red Hot & Blue. Michelle then worked as an Insurance Producer for Aflac from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International LLC and in 2019, they became the Owner of Karmic Nutrition and a Virtual Health Coach/Goals Specialist - Level 3 for Noom Inc. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Contract Health Coach for YourCoach.Health.

From 2004 to 2007, they attended Broadneck High School and studied General Studies. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Anne Arundel Community College. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Maryland and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish in Professional Contexts and Sociology. In 2017, they obtained their Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certificate from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Michelle also has several certifications from LinkedIn and Noom Inc. In 2021, they obtained their National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching.
