Ian Sanders

Ian Sanders has extensive experience in business development, sales, and management roles. Ian is currently the Director of Business Development at Yourgene Health since 2024. Prior to that, they worked at Novacyt Group as the Business Innovation Director from 2021 to 2024 and as the Sales Director for Private Healthcare from 2020 to 2021. Before Novacyt, Ian was the Sales Director at Primerdesign Ltd from 2020 to 2020 and the B2B Business Development Manager from 2019 to 2020. Ian also held the position of Head of Commercial Operations at Weatherbys Scientific from 2017 to 2020. Ian has experience in product management at Leica Biosystems from 2013 to 2017 and as a Senior Global Product Manager at Leica Microsystems from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they were the European Business Manager at Life Technologies from 2008 to 2010. Ian's earlier roles include being the European Sales Manager at NextGen Sciences from 2005 to 2007 and at Nonlinear Dynamics from 2000 to 2005. Ian began their career as the Technical Services Manager at Whatman from 1995 to 2000.

Ian Sanders attended the University of St Andrews from 1984 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics, marine biology, plant biology, and medicine.
