Mark Allen

Mark Allen has an extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Mark began their career in 2007 as a Waiter at The Poachers Bar & Restaurant, where they developed excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. In 2011, they joined the Student Loans Company as an Assessor and Customer Advisor, where they honed their attention to detail and customer service skills. In 2017, they joined Opia Limited as a Web Developer, where they used Vue single file components or Blade templates on the frontend and PHP on the backend to create and enhance promotional websites for large tech companies. Currently, they are employed as a Frontend Developer at YourParkingSpace.

Mark Allen began their educational journey in 2002 when they attended Tudhoe Grange Comprehensive and obtained their GCSE. In 2008, they returned to New College Durham and obtained their BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. Mark then went on to obtain a Foundation Degree in Web Design from New College Durham in 2014. After this, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2016. In the same year, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons in Design from New College Durham.
