Manuel Zomer

Manuel Zomer has a diverse work experience in the technology and education field. Manuel is currently working as a Software Engineer at YourSix, where they are responsible for developing a video monitoring and security Android app. Their tasks include working on the native app codebase, UI frameworks, and low-level programming for video streaming. Manuel is also involved in the design of the mobile and web app, conducting design research and creating UX & UI mockups.

Prior to this role, Manuel worked at Arduino as an Interaction Designer, focusing on educational content. Manuel was involved in shaping interactions with Arduino's digital tools, creating UX & UI design and prototypes, and conducting user testing sessions. Manuel also had an internship at Arduino where they worked on the Arduino Science Journal app.

Before Arduino, Manuel worked at Axis Communications as a Student Full-Stack Developer and Student Web Developer, where they gained experience in web development. Manuel also worked as a Summer Worker at Axis Communications.

Additionally, Manuel has experience as a Teaching Assistant at Malmö University, where they assisted with teaching responsibilities.

Manuel Zomer pursued their education in a sequential manner, starting with their high school studies at Technologische Fachoberschule Fallmerayer from 2011 to 2016. During this period, they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Information Technology. Following their high school education, Manuel Zomer enrolled at Malmö University in 2018 and successfully completed their studies in Interaction Design within the field of Design och visuell kommunikation in 2021.
