Rekha Bala is an experienced editor and writer with a professional background spanning over two decades in various media roles. Currently serving as Lead Editor for HerStory and SocialStory at YourStory Media since July 2017, Rekha has previously held positions including Editor for The Woman at United Media Services LLC from May 2008 to February 2017, and has contributed as a freelance writer for magazines, newspapers, and websites from June 2006 to May 2008. Earlier career highlights include serving as Sub-editor/Reporter at Times of Oman from July 2000 to May 2006 and holding a copywriting role at Insight Advertising. Rekha possesses a Bachelor's in Mass Communication from Nagpur University and a Bachelor of Commerce from The Cochin College.
