YouScreen Initiative is a community-based health organization founded to improve women’s health outcomes through early detection, prevention, and linkage to care, with a strong focus on cervical cancer screening in underserved and post-conflict communities in Uganda.
Formally registered in Gulu District, YouScreen was established in response to persistently low cervical cancer screening rates driven by limited access to services, fear, stigma, misinformation, and weak referral systems—especially among rural and hard-to-reach populations.
