Pamela Smith

Pamela Smith currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Roanoke City Planning Commission and has held the role of Intensive Care Coordinator at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare since November 2021. Additionally, Pamela has been a Senior Advocate at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. since May 2018 and previously served as Editor-in-Chief for Itty Bitty Soul Sistas from June 2011 to June 2022, focusing on empowering young girls of color. Previous work experience includes positions such as Analyst II at Advance Auto Parts, Phone Banker at Wells Fargo, and Customer Service roles at Shell Oil Company and EchoStar Satellite LLC. Pamela earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Forensic Psychology from Kaplan University between 2005 and 2010, following a High School Diploma from Altavista High School.
