Freya Bottomley has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Freya started their career in 2011 as an Area Administrator & Graduate Intern at Cruse Bereavement Care. In 2012, they volunteered at SLV. Freya then joined the British Red Cross in 2013 as an Independent Living Services Coordinator. From 2014 to 2021, Freya worked at The National Counselling Society, initially as a Marketing and Membership Services Manager and later as a Deputy Chief Executive. In 2021, they served as the Interim CEO at the same organization. In 2022, they moved on to work as an Employer Engagement Coordinator at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College. Currently, Freya is the Membership Expansion Manager at Youth Business International.

Freya Bottomley obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations & Global Development with Third World Development from the University of Derby, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In 2018 and 2019, they pursued the CPCAB Certificate in Counselling Skills Level 2 at Brighton MET and Northbrook College. Additionally, in 2009 and 2010, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Les études de Sciences politiques from ICES - Institut catholique de Vendée.
