Alex Xie

Alex Xie currently serves as a Youth Program Leader at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where responsibilities include leading the Teen Activist Project and advocating for pandemic recovery assistance for minority-led arts organizations. Previously, Alex completed a research internship at John Jay College, examining the socioeconomic effects of Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) and presenting findings at the New York City Sexual Assault Resource Meeting, alongside funding efforts for the RAINN foundation. Additionally, Alex has experience as an actor for Vista Higher Learning, contributing to an educational video series that reached millions of students globally. Currently, Alex is pursuing education at John Jay College and is a candidate for graduation from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in June 2025.
