Youth Economics Initiative
Wilson Tao is currently serving as the VP of Finance for the Youth Economics Initiative, overseeing the finance team and managing budgets, grant applications, and new initiatives. In addition, Wilson is a Curriculum Developer focused on creating educational resources and questions for economics competitions. At Harvard University, Wilson is a Research Assistant on a project investigating mass incarceration under Dr. Adaner Usmani. As a part-time Math Instructor at Mathnasium, Wilson teaches K-12 students in Lafayette. Wilson is also the Founder and Executive Director of FLY to the World, which aims to equip youth with essential financial skills. Previous experience includes working as a Fundraising/Grant Team Intern at ChemTalk and participating in the San Francisco Rotary Club's Action Leadership Program, where financial literacy curriculum was developed. Wilson has completed a summer immersion in Investment Portfolio Management at Columbia University and has dual enrollment education at De Anza College and Berkeley City College while attending Bentley School.
