Leading Founder & Head of Y4PT at Youth For Public Transport (Y4PT)

Alessandra Gorini is the leading founder and head of Y4PT at Youth For Public Transport. Alessandra has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, starting their career at Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana S.p.A. in 1990 as Chief Editor International Broadcasting. Alessandra then spent time at Greenpeace and WWF in international communications before joining UITP in 1998 as President's Program Coordinator and Executive Relations. In 2005, they became the Youth Project leading Coordinator where they worked until 2011. Alessandra is a strong advocate for youth engagement in the transportation industry and has been instrumental in developing Y4PT into the successful organization it is today.

Alessandra Gorini has a master's degree in Biological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza'.
