Community Development Manager at Youth For Understanding USA (YFU)

Deborah Fry has extensive experience in community development and youth program management. As Community Development Manager and Field Director at Youth For Understanding USA since April 2014, Deborah has focused on coordinating impactful youth initiatives. Prior to that, as the Founder of STEM-nastics, Inc. from March 2015 to May 2016, Deborah established programs promoting STEM education for youth. At the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association from May 2013 to January 2015, Deborah successfully coordinated STEM and manufacturing programs for over 500 students and developed initiatives like the Girl M-Powered program. Additionally, Deborah's background includes work as Facilities & Events Account Executive at WSIB Motorsports Insurance from January 2007 to July 2009, where responsibilities included managing accounts and underwriting risks. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry from Bowling Green State University, attended Michigan State University, and has a proven track record in grant management, fundraising, and fostering collaboration among community stakeholders.
