Ruslan Sabirly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, arts, and education. As the Founder and Director of the Azerbaijan Booktrailer Festival since January 2016, and Co-Founder of Youth For Understanding since April 2009, Ruslan has demonstrated a commitment to fostering cultural initiatives. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at KARE Design GmbH, Founder and Director of Film School, and Owner and Founder of CinemaNews.az. Ruslan has also contributed to the International Project Management Association as a Project Management Consultant and Trainer, and served in various capacities at the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Republic. Academically, Ruslan holds a PhD in Automation Engineer Technology from Sumgayit State University and has achieved IPMA C Level certification in Project Management.

Youth For Understanding
Make the world your home. YFU advances intercultural understanding, mutual respect, and social responsibility through educational exchanges for youth, families, and communities. YFU is one of the world's oldest, largest, and most respected international educational exchange programs. Since 1951, YFU organizations around the world have exchanged close to 250,000 students. In one year alone, approximately 4,000 students will participate in YFU programs worldwide. Through the exchange experience, YFU students gain skills and perspectives necessary to meet the challenges of and benefit from the opportunities the fast-changing global community has to offer. Youth For Understanding is a worldwide movement of committed individuals and organizations working together to prepare young people for their responsibilities and challenges in a changing, interdependent global community. YFU's national organizations share a common mission and vision for the future. A network of over 50 independent national organizations worldwide, YFU representatives work together to advance learning across cultures. Within each country's culture, YFU organizations subscribe to and operate under a common set of principles and standards that aim to facilitate cooperation and harmony.
