Chris Goulden has a wealth of experience in social research and policy development. Currently serving as the Director of Impact and Evidence at Youth Futures Foundation, Chris leads the team in building evidence on addressing youth unemployment. Previously, Chris held roles at organizations such as the Joseph Rowntree Foundation and the Social Security Advisory Committee, focusing on poverty, welfare, employment, and policy research. With a background in social research methods and a degree in Sociology and Geography, Chris has a strong foundation for influencing policies and practices in the field.

Youth Futures Foundation
Youth Futures Foundation is the What Work’s Centre for youth employment. We aim to narrow employment gaps for young people facing the greatest challenges by identifying what works and why and investing in evidence generation to improve policy and practice. Everything we do is guided by robust evidence of what works to support young people from marginalised backgrounds into good jobs. We learn from the projects we fund and scale up that learning to drive genuine, long-lasting systemic change
