Shawn Brown

Shawn Brown is the current Executive Director of BAM Boston at Youth Guidance. Shawn has extensive experience in the field of vocational and mentoring services. Prior to their current position, Shawn served as the Director of Vocational and Mentoring Services at the Justice Resource Institute from October 2014 to April 2017. Shawn also has significant experience working with youth, having served as the Executive Director of Diamond Educators Mentoring Inc. from January 2001 to January 2017. In addition, Shawn has worked as a Senior Career Specialist at the Boston Private Industry Council from September 2000 to October 2014. Shawn's vast experience in the field makes him uniquely qualified to serve as the Executive Director of BAM Boston at Youth Guidance.

Shawn Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Merrimack College. Shawn also holds a certificate in Non-profit leadership from Boston University and a Certificate of Achievement in Developing Major Gifts from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

They are on a team with Garrett M. Webster - Executive Director, Kansas City, Casswell Goodman - Executive Director, BAM Los Angeles, and Phillip Cusic - Director, Becoming A Man (BAM) Chicago. Their manager is Anthony J. Watson, National Director, Becoming A Man (BAM).
