Darren Worthy is an experienced fundraising professional with a diverse background in managing individual giving programs and team leadership within the charitable sector. Currently serving as Senior Individual Giving Manager at YHA (England & Wales) since July 2022, Darren focuses on various aspects of individual fundraising, such as direct mail and major donors, to enhance outdoor experiences for children. Previously, Darren held roles including Fundraising Manager at United Response, where management of a team and significant fundraising growth were achieved, and Trusts Fundraising Manager at Methodist Homes MHA, which provides support for older people. Early career experiences include positions at Parkinson's UK, NORSACA, the Cascaid Group, and Children's Aid Direct, showcasing a breadth of expertise in community fundraising and communications within multiple charitable organizations. Darren earned a degree in Archaeology from the University of York.
