Mariam Elmais

Mariam Elmais is a Clinical Research Assistant at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in genetic counseling. Mariam has experience as a Cancer Researcher and a Skin Cancer & Dermatology Researcher, employing computational biology software for tumor analysis and conducting significant research on Gorlin Syndrome and basal cell carcinoma. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Mariam is a Research Assistant analyzing postmortem mouse brains. As the Founder and CEO of Prep4Success and Chief Surgical Officer at EnvisionSTEM, Mariam demonstrates leadership and innovation in various educational and healthcare initiatives. Additionally, Mariam is involved with the New York Academy of Sciences, serving as a Junior Academy Team Lead and Publications Editor for students x students. Mariam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Columbia College and is currently pursuing further education at Felician University and The Coding School.
