Lesley Achitoff

Lesley Achitoff, MPS, LCAT, ATR-BC is an experienced Creative Arts Therapist currently working at the Youth Justice Network as of December 2022, focusing on supporting justice-involved youth in fostering hope, personal goals, and managing historical trauma. Previously, Lesley held positions including Supervisor of Creative Arts Therapy at Bellevue Hospital Center, where oversight included programs at Crossroads and Horizon Juvenile Centers, and Director of the Creative Arts Therapy Program at Correctional Health Services, expanding art therapy on Rikers Island. Additional roles included Art Therapist at The Art Therapy Project and Supervisor at Corizon Health, with early experiences advising and providing therapy at CASES and HeartShare Human Services. Lesley earned a Master of Professional Studies in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Graphic Design from Syracuse University.
