George Smith

George Smith is the current Director at Youth Opportunities Unlimited. George has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, starting their career as a Branch/District Manager at Ameritrust in November 1983. During their time at Ameritrust, George worked at four different locations as a branch manager before being promoted to district manager, where they supervised 12 branch facilities and staff. In October 1993, George left Ameritrust to pursue other opportunities in the banking industry.

George Smith completed a college prep program at Elyria Catholic HS before going on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Heidelberg University. George then went on to earn an MBA in Business Administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
