Heather Light

Heather Light is an experienced professional in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Director of Advancement at Youth Opportunities Unlimited since March 2020, where management of the Summer to Success capacity-building campaign and individual giving program is a key responsibility. Prior to this role, Heather Light held several positions at United Way of Greater Cleveland from August 2015 to March 2020, including Associate Director of Workplace Campaigns and Senior Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations, managing a diverse portfolio of organizational clients and leading strategies to enhance employee and corporate giving. Additional experience includes roles at Vivo as a server/bartender, an internship with the Arthritis Foundation, and producer roles at CBS Radio, reflecting a multifaceted background in fundraising, event coordination, and media production. Education was pursued at The Ohio Center for Broadcasting and Cuyahoga Community College.
