Stacey Schroeder

Stacey Schroeder is the current Director at Youth Opportunities Unlimited. Prior to this, they were the Workforce Development Director at the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) from January 2019 to January 2020. In this role, they led PMA’s workforce development efforts, including strategic planning, goal setting, marketing and communications, live and virtual demonstrations, and managing a team of staff.

Under Schroeder’s leadership, the PMA hit nearly 200% of their sales target for their newest online training program, METALFORM EDU. This program includes exclusive online courses on die setting, press shop operations and metal spinning, along with 500+ courses on technical and business skills. Schroeder also designed and delivered virtual learning experiences, guided the live leadership development program, and worked with those that deliver events, technical seminars and round tables to ensure adult learning practices were considered. Stacey more than doubled the amount of webinars offered, leveraging their network of experts. Additionally, Schroeder re-vamped the leadership development program with learning contracts, a capstone assignment and a virtual debrief session.

In their role at PMA, Schroeder also served on the board of NIMS and several PMA task forces. Stacey collaborated often with other associations, subject matter experts and higher education institutions. Schroeder was an integral member of PMA's leadership team and worked closely with their Board members to drive the right training programs and services for their industry.

Stacey Schroeder has a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering with a Manufacturing focus from Michigan State University, a Continuing Education Certification in Training & Development from Cleveland State University, and an M.S. in Manufacturing and Engineering Management (Operations Management) from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business. Stacey also has an MBA in Operations, Logistics and Six Sigma Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Stacey has certification from Cleveland State University in Training & Development Certification, Owens Corning Fiberglas in Kaizen Facilitator, Max M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (completed body of knowledge), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and PolyOne Corporation in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
