Debbie Nelson

Debbie Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Debbie started their career at Withers Tsang and Co Chartered Accountants in 1998, working in business advisory. Debbie then moved on to WHK Gosling Chapman in 1999, where they held the position of Senior Accountant, Business Advisory. In 2004, they joined Fleet Insurance and Risk Management Limited as a Finance Manager before moving to Paymark in 2007, where they served as a Finance Manager and played a crucial role in implementing system changes. In 2013, they founded their own company, Nelson Contract Services Limited, before transitioning to Coeliac New Zealand in 2016 as a Treasurer. Debbie currently holds the position of CFO at Youthtown Inc, a role they assumed in 2014.

Debbie Nelson holds a Bachelor of Business (Honours) degree in Accounting and Information Technology from Auckland University of Technology. Debbie also has a CA (Chartered Accountant) degree in Accountancy from the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
