Michelle Barton

Michelle Barton currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of YouthWorX NT since October 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle held the position of Operations Manager at the Northern Territory Council of Social Service (NTCOSS) from June 2021 to October 2023, and served as a Quality Assurance Officer at Carpentaria between February 2020 and June 2021. Michelle possesses a strong background in community services management, having worked as the Director of Community Services at Lutheran Services Australia and the Community Services Manager for Disability Programs from May 2017 to July 2019. Additional experience includes roles at Lutheran Community Care and Intercept Youth and Family Service, demonstrating extensive expertise in youth support and community development. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Applied Management from Federation University Australia and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University. Additionally, Michelle enjoys traveling Australia as a nomad, embracing new adventures and opportunities.
