Akash Tyagi

Akash Tyagi is a Senior Software Engineer at YouTube since July 2020, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Facebook from February 2016 to June 2020, where Akash contributed to the Stories Delivery and Platform team by scaling the stories delivery infrastructure to enhance user growth. Prior to that, Akash completed a software engineering internship at Facebook in mid-2015, working on Ads ML infrastructure to improve click-through rate models. Early in the career, Akash held positions as a Software Developer at MoveInSync, focusing on customer experience through SMS vendor API integration, and at Directi, contributing to both the Distributed Communication Server Team and Ad-Server Team by developing critical server and messaging solutions. Akash holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
