Dee Speed is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in user experience (UX) and product design, currently serving as the Director of Design for YouTube Music and YouTube Premium since July 2016. Speed oversees a distributed team focused on enhancing YouTube's premium subscription services, including YouTube Originals. Previously, Speed held significant roles at Google as UX Manager and Creative Director for Google Fiber, and as UX Lead for Google Analytics. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Product Design at Yahoo! and leadership positions at Flickr, Yahoo!7, and Disney Interactive Group. Since August 2023, Speed has been a Next Gem Femme Mentor at Femme It Forward. With a foundation in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Cornell University, Dee Speed combines creative design with strategic insights across a diverse range of platforms.
