Marly Ellis has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Marly began their career in 1998 as an Account Representative at The Chicago Tribune before moving on to work as an Associate Account Manager at Digital Advertising in 1999. In the same year, they joined ESPN ABC Customer Marketing & Sales as an Account Executive for ESPN Digital. Marly continued working at ESPN, where they held positions such as Sr. Director of Digital Sales Strategy at ESPN Digital Media from 2007 to 2009 and Sr. Director of Sales and Strategy at ESPN global digital and espnW from 2009 to 2013. Marly then transitioned to YouTube, where they took on multiple roles including Global Head of Artist Marketing from 2013 to 2015, Global Head of Brand Marketing Programs from 2015 to 2021, and currently serves as the Director of Brand Marketing.
Marly Ellis earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Creative Writing and Journalism from Miami University, attending from 1994 to 1998.
