Sushant Kumar

Sushant Kumar is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and leading technology projects across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at YouTube since October 2024, Sushant previously held prominent roles at X, the moonshot factory, and Google, where expertise in architecture and development of backend systems for IoT products and their ecosystems was demonstrated. Sushant's career also includes significant contributions to Yahoo!, where leadership in building high-performing platforms and frameworks for media sites and server-side presentation was established. Earlier experiences span roles at Willow TV and Geometric Ltd., alongside a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
