John Sadler

John Sadler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. John began their career at Logica UK as a Consultant, working on the development of credit card issuing and account management software. John then moved to Salomon Smith Barney, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Services department, focusing on Y2K preparations and Euro re-denomination. Following this, John worked as a Software Architect at Flextech Television, designing and developing applications for Web and Interactive TV. John then joined the BBC as a Consultant, collaborating with agile software teams to deliver services and tools for interactive platforms. In 2000, John became the Technical Director at CentricView Software Ltd., providing software and consultancy services primarily to the media industry. Their responsibilities included working with notable clients such as BBC, Channel 4, and ITN. Most recently, John worked at YouView TV Limited in multiple roles, including Lead Engineer, Head of Device Architecture, and Distinguished Engineer.

John Sadler attended Durham University from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science. John successfully completed their degree with honors, earning a 2:1.
