Carey J Gardien

Carey J Gardien has extensive experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and has held various leadership positions. Since October 2019, Carey has served as Manager Preventie, Jeugdteams en CAT, and Projectmanager Aanbesteding H10 at Youz. Concurrently, since April 2015, Carey has been the Managing Director at De Jutters, overseeing mental health services for children and adolescents in Haaglanden and surrounding regions, with a focus on mental health and intellectual disabilities. Previously, from March 2000 to April 2015, Carey was the General Director at de Banjaard, a specialized center for psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents. Additional roles include GZ psych and behandelcoordinator at de Compaan and GZ-psych/director at the Pedologisch Instituut Den Haag. Educationally, Carey holds a drs psychologie degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, acquired in 1987, supplemented by postdoctoral studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2008 to 2009.
