Ellen Schelling- Dekker

Ellen Schelling-Dekker has extensive experience in education and child psychology, working as an Ambulant Behandelaar at Youz since August 2016, focusing on children and adolescents with mild intellectual disabilities and psychiatric issues. Prior to this role, Ellen owned a pedagogical practice from May 2016 to December 2019, where support was tailored to the needs of children and their environments. Previous positions include teacher and arrangements coordinator at OBS Vleuterweide, assistant behavioral scientist at De Buitenwereld, and summer school facilitator at Utrecht University. Ellen holds a Master of Science in Learning Support from Utrecht University and Bachelor's degrees in Primary Education from both HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Utrecht University.
