Youz
Karlijn Streefkerk is a skilled psychologist with diverse experience in mental health and education. Currently employed as a psychologist at Youz since November 2021, Karlijn has a background as an ambulant hulpverlener in psychiatry since 2019, providing care for clients facing psychiatric issues, including schizophrenia and developmental disorders. Previous roles include psychologist in training and WMO coach at FamilySupporters, where Karlijn focused on diagnostics and family coaching, and similar psychologist roles at FortaGroep, where treatment for children and adolescents was emphasized. Additional experience includes teaching positions at Maris College and Winford College, along with various educational roles in museums. Academically, Karlijn holds a Master of Science in Psychology from Leiden University, a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts and education from Willem de Kooning Academy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Literature studies from Leiden University.

Youz helpt kinderen, jongeren en (jong)volwassenen die klachten of ernstigere psychische of verslavingsproblemen hebben. Ook behandelen we hun gezin. We behandelen zo intensief als nodig en zo kort als mogelijk. Wij werken op poli’s en digitale platforms, maar we bieden ook hoog-specialistische ggz, opname en crisisopvang. Youz werkt samen met de jeugdige, zijn of haar gezin en ieder ander die iets in het herstel kan betekenen.
