Peter van Beelen

Peter van Beelen currently serves as Manager of zorg en psychotherapeut/orthopedagoog at Youz since September 2021. Previous experience includes roles as Psychotherapeut/regiebehandelaar at Gezinssupport, Forensisch pedagoog LVB/psychotherapeut/coach at 's Heeren Loo het Westerhonk, and various positions in mental health and psychotherapy across different organizations. Peter has been involved with the external advisory committee of Meldpunt Apostolisch Genootschap and has owned and operated Spero praktijk voor psychotherapie. Educational qualifications include a Master in Arts in Developmental and Child Psychology from Leiden University, with additional certifications in psychotherapy and organizational management. Peter has extensive experience in child and youth psychiatry, forensic pedagogy, and therapeutic practices.
