Christoph Birkholz has held various roles throughout their career. In 2009, they co-founded and became the President of the Board for Impact Hub Zürich. Christoph continued to serve in this role until the present. In 2016, they co-founded and became the President of the Board for Kickstart Innovation, which they currently hold. Additionally, Birkholz has been a Board Member for Panter AG since 2017 and for Panter Consulting Company Ltd. since 2022. Christoph has also been a Member of the Board for Alternative Bank Schweiz since 2020. In 2022, they became a Board Member for Verein Innovationsfonds. Birkholz co-founded and served as Prokurist for Inyova Impact Investing starting in 2017. Christoph was also a Co-President and Co-Founder for Impact Hub Switzerland from 2019 to 2022. Christoph has served as a Member of the Board for Quantworks AG since 2019, and was a Team Member for Versus Virus from 2020 to 2021, participating in crisis response efforts in Switzerland.

Christoph Birkholz completed their education in a chronological manner. Christoph first attended the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2003 to 2006, where they received a Dipl.-Kfm. (FH) degree in International Investment and Risk Management. Christoph then moved on to the Universität Witten/Herdecke and obtained an M.A. in General Management from 2006 to 2009. In 2008, they briefly attended the IPADE Business School as a visiting student and pursued an MBA. Continuing their educational journey, Birkholz attended the University of St.Gallen from 2009 to 2014, where they completed a PhD in Impact Investing. Finally, they attended INSEAD in 2012 and completed the ISEP Executive Education program in Organizational Leadership.
