Matías E. Lorenzo

Matías E. Lorenzo is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in forensic technology and incident response. Currently serving as a Consultor CSIRT - Forense at YPF SA since May 2025, Matías previously held the role of Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Xelere from October 2021 to May 2025, specializing in SOC Level 3 operations. Matías's expertise includes the definition and development of use cases for detection alerts and automated workflows, supporting N1/N2 operators in cybersecurity incident resolution, designing and configuring SIEM rules, and creating playbooks in multidisciplinary environments. Prior experience includes consulting roles at KPMG Argentina in the Forensic Technology Services division. Matías holds multiple advanced cybersecurity degrees from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, including a degree in Systems Information Engineering, alongside specialized certifications in ethical hacking, offensive security, pentesting, and red teaming from Ekoparty Hackademy and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
