Michelle Walker is an award-winning, respected public procurement professional currently serving as the Head of Procurement Services at YPO since 2024. Previously, they held roles as a Procurement Specialist and Senior Category Manager at NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative from 2008 to 2020, and as a Buyer at Rotherham General Hospitals NHS Trust from 1994 to 2000. Michelle started their career in procurement at Sheffield Hallam University from 2000 to 2008. They hold a Post Graduate degree in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham and are pursuing a BA (Hons) in Business and Management as well as a Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply qualification at Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield College, respectively.
