Alyssa Moody

Alyssa Moody has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alyssa started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Northwest Facilities and Equipment Maintenance in 2012, where they were responsible for data entry, invoicing, and providing customer service. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Avionics Administrative Assistant at Columbia Helicopters, managing spreadsheets, calendars, and inventory. Alyssa also designed and engraved company placards.

In 2013, Alyssa worked as a Contractor at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company.

Alyssa then transitioned to the role of Student at Epicodus in 2017. During this time, they gained experience in full-stack development, working with languages such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Alyssa also completed an internship at Recentia Health, where they developed a RESTful API and an Angular web application.

Alyssa joined SKIDATA as a Software Engineer in 2018. Here they developed AWS Lambda Functions and Docker Microservice applications using C#/.NET Core. Alyssa worked on RESTful APIs, wrote SQL queries, and participated in the entire development process. Alyssa also developed portions of a front-end using Angular 6 and practiced continuous delivery using GitHub and Jenkins.

In 2020, Alyssa joined Finvi as a Software Engineer II, where they worked on bug fixes and new feature development in a Winforms app. Alyssa also assisted in the architectural planning for transitioning from a monolith Winforms app to SaaS microservices.

Before their current position, Alyssa worked as a Senior Software Engineer at tryl, which was later acquired by YPrime in 2021.

Currently, Alyssa works as a Senior Full Stack Engineer I at YPrime, starting in 2022.

Alyssa Moody received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General from Western Washington University between 2009 and 2012. In 2017, they obtained a Certificate in Web and Mobile Development from Epicodus.
