Andrew Ballam

Andrew Ballam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrew is currently working at YPrime as an IT Engineer, where they manage Office365 Administration, Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint administration, backup management, vendor management, and supports Palo Alto firewalls, routers, and switches.

Prior to this, Andrew served as a Lieutenant at Lionville Fire Company, where they were involved in assisting with traffic crashes, building fires, water rescues, and other emergency situations. Andrew also worked as a First Responder/Fire Police Officer, providing support to local and state police in crime scenes, barricaded subjects, traffic control, and other law enforcement matters. Andrew holds certifications in Exterior Firefighter, Fire Police Basic, Advanced Fire Police, Traffic Incident Management, Hazmat Awareness, Hazmat Ops, CPR/First Aid/Oxygen Administration, and more.

Before their involvement in the firefighting industry, Andrew worked at J.W. Pepper as a Senior System Administrator and System Administrator. Andrew also served as an Information Technology Consultant and Sr. Analyst at Automated Financial Systems, Inc. (AFS) and held the role of System Analyst at CFS, The School at Church Farm. Earlier in their career, Andrew served as a Firefighter at Gladwyne Fire Company.

Andrew Ballam attended Harriton High School from 2001 to 2005, but did not receive a degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. In 2007 and 2008, they attended the Chubb Institute and obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Networking and Security. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained certifications as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) from Microsoft.
