Alejandro Díaz Centeno

Alejandro Díaz Centeno is a software architect and senior software engineer with extensive experience in the development of cloud services and applications, particularly in the healthcare and oil and gas industries. Currently employed at Ypsomed AG since September 2020, Alejandro leads projects focused on Diabetes Care using Scrum, Kanban, automated testing, and CI/CD processes. Previously, Alejandro held a senior software engineering position at ERNI and served as a technical lead at Tecgraf/PUC-Rio, where responsibilities included architecture definition and team management for applications related to subsea simulations and geospatial visualization. Alejandro's earlier career included roles at the Cuban Neuroscience Center and the University of Havana, focusing on medical applications and teaching.
