Lekha Panneer Selvam

Lekha Panneer Selvam has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Lekha is currently working as a Sr. Hardware Engineer at Yubico since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Hughes Network Systems as a Hardware Engineer, where they developed and qualified high-performance satellite products or systems. Lekha was responsible for various tasks such as component selection, schematic capture, design verification testing, and product failure analysis. Lekha also worked as an Electrical Hardware Engineer at Fennec ID, LLC, where they designed and built a prototype for a solar-powered mobile holder plus charger for cars. Additionally, they have experience as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Kairos Air Inc., where they contributed to the design of electrical circuits and systems for a manned aerial vehicle. Lekha also worked as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Stan Ventures, where they designed and built semi-autonomous robots. Earlier in their career, they were a Robotics Engineer at K-Tex Automations, where they engineered an academic project called "Egg Categorization using Robotic arm" and worked with PIC16f877a microcontroller. Lekha also worked as a PCB Design Engineer at Powersoft Systems, where they designed circuit boards and handled fabrication processes. Lekha Panneer Selvam pursued their education in the field of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Lekha completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from Karunya University, Coimbatore, from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2015 and 2017.
