Seungwhan Rhee

Seungwhan Rhee has over 20 years of experience in hardware engineering. Seungwhan currently works at Yubico as a Hardware Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Afero as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where they developed Wifi and BLE based IOT edge device reference hardware and maintained Python based device programming. Seungwhan also has experience as a Principal Hardware Engineer at SecuGen, where they handled all hardware-related tasks and provided corporate hardware roadmap for fingerprint reader devices. Additionally, they have worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Hana Micron America Inc, a Hardware Manager at Next Papyrus Inc, and a Chief Engineer at BNSoft. Their earlier experiences include working as a Senior FAE at Silicon Laboratories, a Senior Hardware Engineer at Mobilink Telecom, a Hardware Engineer at Wave Telecom, and an RF Engineer at Samsung Electronics. Throughout their career, Seungwhan Rhee has been involved in various hardware design and development projects, including IOT devices and cellular communication devices.

Seungwhan Rhee pursued their education at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they furthered their studies at the same institution and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), completing their studies from 1995 to 1997.
