Amey Banarse

Amey Banarse is the current VP of Sales Engineering at Yugabyte Inc. Prior to this, they were with Pivotal Inc. as an Advisory Data Engineer from July 2014 to June 2019. Their focus was on Solutions Architecture and Sales Engineering for Fortune 500 companies. Banarse also worked with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a Data Analytics from July 2011 to July 2014, where they worked with Market Regulations Data architecture team to implement various big data analytics frameworks - Cassandra, Apache HBase, AWS Redshift, and Hive(Elastic MapReduce) for developing and migrating existing enterprise applications to AWS platform.Banarse has also worked as a Senior Consultant - Analytics at Gemini Systems from August 2010 to July 2014, and as an Associate Consultant at NYSE Euronext from August 2010 to March 2012.

Amey Banarse has a Master of Science in Computer Science - Networking and Distributed Systems from the University of Pennsylvania. Amey also has a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Mumbai. Amey is certified by Cisco in Cisco Certified Network Associate - Network Security(IINS) and Cisco Certified Network Associate.
