Maryam Kazerooni

Maryam Kazerooni has a diverse work experience in the field of design, primarily focused on user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Maryam began their career at The Nielsen Company as a UI Designer on a contract basis. Maryam then worked at Community Forests International as a Visual Designer, before joining Envaya as a UI Designer, where they contributed to the development of online software for community-based organizations. Maryam later joined OpenDNS as a UX Designer and eventually took on the role of UI Designer, where they managed and implemented various design aspects for the company's branding, web, and product UI/UX. Following this, Maryam joined MuleSoft as a Senior UX Designer, where they continued to contribute to the design and development of user-centered products. Maryam then transitioned to Salesforce as a Senior UX Designer, where they received the "Innovator award" in 2020 and led the design of the Anypoint DataGraph initiative. Currently, Maryam holds the position of Director of Product Design at Yugabyte, where they oversee the design process and strategy.

Maryam Kazerooni attended Tehran University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology. Maryam then enrolled in Cavendish College from 2002 to 2004, completing a Certificate Program in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
