Michael Carroll

Michael Carroll, CPA, CISM, CISSP, currently serves as the Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Yugabyte, where responsibilities include developing compliance programs for various frameworks in a multi-cloud environment and leading the Information Risk Council. Previously, Michael held positions as Senior Manager and Compliance Manager at the University of Maryland Global Campus and has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Bryant & Stratton College, teaching courses in accounting and business principles. Michael's experience also includes managerial roles in IT Audit and Cyber Risk Advisory at risk3sixty LLC and positions as an Information Security Consultant at Tevora and an Information Assurance Senior Associate at Aprio. Michael holds an MBA in Accounting and a B.S. in Accounting/Accounting Information Systems from Canisius University.
