Nikhil Chandrappa

Nikhil Chandrappa has work experience across multiple companies and roles. Nikhil started their career at Infosys in 2009 as a System Engineer, where they focused on developing enhancements for JavaEE web applications and web services. Nikhil also worked on code refactoring and optimization. In 2011, Nikhil became a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys until 2013.

In 2015, Nikhil joined Pivotal Software, Inc. as a Data Engineer and later became a Senior Data Engineer in 2018. During this time, they gained expertise in data engineering.

Since 2019, Nikhil has been working at Yugabyte as a Lead Ecosystem Software Engineer. Nikhil is the lead for the Spring Data YugabyteDB project, where they focus on building framework integrations, platform integrations, and Dev Tools for YugabyteDB.

Overall, Nikhil has extensive experience in software development, data engineering, and project leadership.

Nikhil Chandrappa holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore.
