Antonio Lopez-Bustos

Antonio Lopez-Bustos has a extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Antonio started their career in 2002 as a Front Office Manager at De Vere Grand Brighton. Antonio then joined Exclusive Hotels in 2008, where they served as a Front of House Manager and later as a Hotel Operations Manager. In 2013, they became the General Manager at Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel, where they led the team in maintaining the hotel's 5-star status and implementing refurbishments. In 2015, they joined Unilife Ltd as the Managing Director, focusing on service excellence, team development, and commercial success. In 2020, they became the Director of Property Operations & New Opportunities at Stelling Properties Limited. From 2019-2021, they served as the Chairman of the Southern Branch at the Institute of Hospitality. Currently, they serve as the Regional Director of Operations - Europe at Yugo.

Antonio Lopez-Bustos has a diverse education history. Antonio obtained a degree in Real Estate Economics & Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a short-term program in General Management at Cranfield School of Management in 2011. Antonio also holds a degree in Turismo (Hospitality Management) from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., which they earned from 2004 to 2007. Antonio's academic journey began with a degree in LADE (Business and Economics) from Universidad de Granada, which they completed from 1994 to 2000. Additionally, they pursued studies in International Economics at the University of Skövde from 1998 to 1999. Antonio's commitment to continuous learning is evident through their pursuit of further certifications, as they plan to obtain the "Getting Started with Power BI" certification from LinkedIn in 2023.
