Oliver Berchtold

Oliver Berchtold has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Oliver started their career as a Research Assistant at the Institut für Marketing and Handel, University of St. Gallen in 2007. Oliver then worked as a Management Consulting Intern at Accenture and Horváth & Partners Management Consultants in 2008. In 2010, they briefly served as a Project Leader Business Development at Octantis Start-up Accelerator.

From 2011 to 2017, Berchtold joined ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS® Schweiz AG, where they held multiple roles. Oliver initially worked as the CEO Assistant from November 2011 to March 2014. Afterwards, they became the Head of Key Client Development & Product Management, focusing on acquisition and development of major accounts, as well as overseeing tenders and optimizing processes. Oliver also led product management for media monitoring and intelligence, implementing agile methodologies and driving the turnaround and further development of the web platform ARGUSavenue.

Since 2017, Berchtold has been the Co-Founder & CPO of YUKKA Lab AG, a Berlin-based fintech start-up. Oliver played a vital role in developing and implementing YUKKA's proprietary text analysis technology and financial models. Their tools allow clients to anticipate market trends based on the evaluation of professional finance news, enabling them to adjust their investment strategies accordingly.

Throughout their career, Berchtold has demonstrated expertise in product management, business development, project leadership, and management consulting. Oliver has successfully introduced innovative approaches, such as Lean Project Portfolio Management and agile software development, to optimize processes and drive company-wide transformations.

Oliver Berchtold's education history is as follows:

Oliver Berchtold attended Gymnasium Oberwil from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Economics and Law. Oliver then went on to enroll at the University of St.Gallen from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. In 2009, Oliver Berchtold returned to the University of St.Gallen and pursued a Master's degree in Business Innovation, which they completed in 2011.

During their education, Oliver Berchtold also had the opportunity to study as a visiting student at Stanford University in 2009 and 2010, focusing on Design Thinking.

In addition to their formal education, Oliver Berchtold has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering through IREB GmbH and completed SCRUM Essentials with the Zühlke Group. In 2016, they completed the ZfU International Business School Führung-Lehrgang, and in 2017, they obtained the SAFe 4.0 Product Manager / Product Owner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
